Designing MY Perfect Small Game Air Rifle. The Air Venturi Avenge-x Tactical Carbine is based on a modular platform that allowed me to put together a gun specifically for the task of small game hunting in dense woods and thickets where a compact gun is the optimum.

I shot the gun in out-of-the-box trim to get me out into the woods, and my intention was to zero in with a traditional domed pellet, though I also tried a variety of pellets just to see how they performed.

In upcoming videos you'll see me do a rigorous test with slugs, while adjusting the regulator, hammer spring and transfer port to get the best performance, as well as getting the gun out to hunt.

Bottomline..... I really enjoyed shooting this little carbine and see a great deal of potential to fine tune it for various projectiles.
