Karma Airguns EQ, pre-Charged Pneumatic Bullpup - Part 3B - Post Mod Trigger Weight Test
Shortly after the release of the Karma Airguns EQ the in-house engineering team designed a part to improve the feel, function and adjustability of the EQ trigger. I didn't think the original trigger was awful, though I spent all of my adult life pulling Glock and black rifle triggers in the 5-9 pound range, so maybe I have a wide range when it comes to "what's acceptable."
Karma Airguns, and in full disclosure I'm a part of that team, made the decision to send the upgrade part to early purchasers, at no cost. In my opinion, it was the right thing to do. The video on how to do the upgrade is here. https://youtu.be/fwr2Pbh2toc?si=dDaEF3VlEXkzRKW9
Since there has been a substantial change, I thought it warranted an updated video in the series. Since I prefer to be transparent about things, I'm not taking down the original video. Watch one, watch both, compare...Have it your way.
In this video I use my handy Lyman trigger scale to measure the pull weight on an UPDATED Karma Airguns EQ in .25 caliber.
Over the past month part of my day job has been developing the base tunes and calculating maximum power for all three calibers of EQ's. It takes time to get it right, and doesn't leave much for getting out an taking longer shots, so still no shooting in this video, but that doesn't mean you won't get any down the line. In fact I have a pesting outing in the planning phase, so stay tuned for that.
I'm trying something new here. A few short videos that, as a collection, could collectively form the base of a review of sorts. YouTube certainly likes (and pushes) the format. I'd be curious to know if you do. Old dog...new tricks. We will see.
Hopefully the planets will line up so I can bring you some on-target footage in the next week.
