The FX Impact .35 just got here and I decided to drop everything (to include a planned Turkey hunt) and head to the range to do some early testing and give all you air heads a chance to see it in action. Of course as soon as I set up my shooting range a big group of Turkeys walks right through. At least I know where to set up my decoys now tomorrow! HA!

So first impressions of the FX Impact .35..... WOW! Just WOW! Even tuned down a bit to hit that sweet spot of 850-865 FPS (135-ish FPE) for best accuracy with these 81 grain FX pellets, this thing is hitting like a TON OF BRICKS! I will be playing with the velocities a bit to tune the FX Impact .35 for best accuracy, but right out of the box this thing is ready for medium to smaller large game hunting!

The FX Impact .35 cal 800mm barrel is helping give this platform HUGE power potential and paired with the new MKII power plenum it has AMAZING air efficiency. That longer barrel and the bit of a kick, this .35 monster is making the platform like a bit of a firmer hold in the shoulder pocket.

After just a few magazines, I got this thing putting pellet-on-pellet and decided to make an attempt at the weekly Airgun Nation shooting challenge to hit a pellet with the same caliber of pellet. Super fun challenge - check it out!
