I am decoying wood pigeons not only as they are good to eat but also to help protect a farmers crop as the wood pigeons can destroy large areas of ripened crops before the combine can harvest it as well as eating the seeds on a freshly sown field of winter barley meant for next years crop.
I am using a legally held air rifle to humanely and legally control pest birds on farm land that i have permission to do so on without glorifying or prolonging the death of the birds.
But as you'l see in the video sometimes things don't always go to plan.
